We think that contents such as those of the Ifior Circle are a heritage available to all humanity: since the launch of this site, in June 2017, we set ourselves the goal of making it available at least in English but, unfortunately, we had to give up because manual translation is very tiring.
Today there are sufficiently reliable technological resources and we plan to rely on them for the translation of the entire site and not a few, sporadic pages.
We are currently using a free translation service, but we think the Ifior Circle deserves better and more by using services with higher translation accuracy.
These services often have a high cost, but we would have found this solution offered by Google:
The free version uses statistical machine translations. In the paid versions we use Google neural translations which are very accurate when translating to and from the English language. For example, the statistical quality of Spanish to English translation ranked 6 out of 10, with 10 being a perfect translation. Human translators generally rank at 8,5, and new neural machine translations reach 8,3. In our paid versions you can manually refine translations.
Some time ago we made a subscription among you readers and we collected about 1200 € of donations that we are using to meet the ordinary costs of the site: we would not want to use these funds to support the translation service, we would like to create a separate line of financing.
If 20 readers contribute 5 € / year we have already achieved the goal.
