Accept, know, learn from your limits

When one is incarnated on the physical plane, you know it, one tends to attribute to external things the reason for the problems one encounters; therefore, taking as an example the one made by G., or the person who has the problem of the nose, it is right to underline - in my opinion - that the problem is not the nose, it is only the element procured by existence to ensure that the individual faces an inner problem; the nose is the external manifestation of the problem, it is the one that points straight (not only metaphorically) indicating the direction in which the individual must look at his limit.
What does this mean? It means that, at this point, the limits that each of you discovers that you have - usually experienced, one by one, as small curses - should in the meantime begin to be experienced in a slightly different way, that is, as signal flags that suggest all attention of those who own them the directions to take to ensure that these limits no longer create problems.
This does not mean canceling the limit - it does not mean that the nose gets shorter, if the problem is the nose - but it does mean trying to go back from the external problem to what is the innermost motivation that makes the nose a limit.
At the cost of repeating myself in a way that is even a bit boring, in the end all one does is return to the usual “know yourself”: the limits that the individual possesses are closely linked to his evolutionary needs; it is the signals of his consciousness, the vibrations that come from his Akasic body that have caused him to be embodied at that given moment, at that given epoch, in that certain type of society, in that certain type of family, with that certain type of physique.
All these elements combine to offer him that carpet of possibilities on which he can exercise his attention in such a way as to overcome those limits, or those misunderstandings that have not yet been reached in the course of various lives.
I know that for those who see their own limits it is difficult to accept its existence; or, better still: I know that for theIo of those who observe their own limit it is difficult to accept the fact that they have limits, however try to realize, at a slightly deeper level, that in any case it is a limit that you have is automatically compensated by an excess that you have in some other direction .
Think of those who lose their sight: it is a considerable limitation, of course, but you all know that those who lose their sight refines the other senses; he usually has perception skills that other people, who see normally, do not have.
Therefore, keep in mind that for each limit there is an extra gift. So, inwardly try to cherish these extra gifts that you have and perhaps use them to face with courage, openly, the limits you demonstrate without putting them aside, without hiding them more than anything else from yourself, because this is useless. 'other than making the limit even heavier and putting you even more in difficulty in the face of daily routes.
Yes, because the individual is made up of a continuous exchange between the inside and the outside, between what is deep inside and what lives in everyday life within the physical plane, and therefore a limit blocks this passage of information; blocks this possibility of flowing energies in a right, balanced way; therefore it blocks the ability to understand better.
So try not to hide your limits from yourself, but to observe them with serenity and to accept them as best you can. Scifo

But what is the way to accept your limits?
It is easy to say "accept the limit that one discovers you have", but when it comes to putting the teaching into practice, here you are faced with that set of internal and external forces that make acceptance so difficult.
The first thing you need to do is to to recognize one's limit, this is already a good start on the path of overcoming it.
The second step you have to take is to go through the knowledge of the limit to get to connect this knowledge with what vibrates emotionally and mentally within you, in such a way as to understand if it is an emotional issue, or a mental issue that causes this sort of inner block.
When you have succeeded in identifying these elements, you must then try to prune the limit from the emotional part and also from the mental part and observe it with different eyes trying to understand what it is teaching you, because the limit is not a chain that binds you, but it is an indication of what you need to understand and, by understanding it, you will also understand yourself.
By understanding yourself, the limit will inevitably be exceeded; or if, unfortunately, the limit has karmic ties for which you must however, to rebalance your karmic experience in the various existences, live with that limit, certainly understanding it will help you to accept it and, therefore, to make it less difficult for yourself. 1. These are the steps that impressed me the most:
“… So try not to hide your limits from yourself, but to observe them with serenity and to accept them as best you can. ... "
“… Because the limit is not a chain that binds you, but it is an indication of what you need to understand and, by understanding it, you will also understand yourselves….”.

I realize that the habit of attributing to "external things" the reason for the problems I encounter is hard to die, a constant presence is needed for me to remember what is indicated in this passage from the IFIOR Circle ...

  2. What I read is certainly not new to me, perhaps it is new to have understood my limitation and that is that if I read something that I already know but I am unable to practice it because I am not fully understood or I am not sure of my interpretation, nervous. I discovered this limit.
Now I don't know what to do with it, how to work with it and what to look for inside of me.
So the "know thyself" seems to me not to practice it, it seems to me that I do not get anything out of it and I end up like the cat that bites its tail and turns around on itself.

    • So you react in the face of a difficulty of interpretation, understanding or implementation with a nervous reaction dominated by rejection, impatience, intolerance and perhaps even intolerance towards you: is it so? So I would go and see the components of that "nervous", to begin with ..

  3. Just yesterday the news of the Nobel Prize in Physics, who openly declared his dyslexicity, which allowed him to understand the difficulties of others.

  4. "Try to go back from the external problem to what is the innermost motivation that makes the nose a limit"

I was struck by this passage. Don't stop. Go back. To investigate. Elaborate on. Gut.

The need to be curious, motivated by a thirst for knowledge. The attitude of the curious and restless explorer, who when he finds himself in front of a mountain to climb does not cry for the hardness of the climb but walks it step by step, savoring and imagining the beauty of the landscape that he will be able to observe from the top.

  5. Of course, knowing, recognizing one's limit, but also making peace with it by accepting it, seems important to me. Then if it is true that other gifts compensate for it, the field of discovery is truly infinite.
