Sensitivity to nature, art, mysticism, other than oneself (IF25)

Philosophical teaching 25
I would say that, indeed, also as regards the sensitivity it is possible to make a comparison with what is theevolution; in fact it seems clear to me with what has been said in the previous speeches, that the sensitivity must necessarily increase gradually as evolution increases.
This because? Because it is logical that by increasing the evolution of the individual, his senses also become more and more refined, more and more precise, and it is therefore inevitable that they become more and more sensitive.
Of course, I am not referring to the strictly physical senses, but to all those other senses which are possessed by the other bodies of the individual.
It is therefore natural that as the individual progresses in evolution, his sensitivity also grows. So much so that if you go through the speech once made by the Guides about evolution, you can notice that in several points there has been talk of greater perceptiveness of the individual as he passes through the various incarnational moments: there is minimal sensitivity in the crystal, which then increases in plants, increases in animals and increases again in humans.
This, of course, also in function of all the other bodies that are forming, that are being structured.
Therefore, sensitivity is closely linked and linked to evolution. Boris

It would seem to me perhaps more correct to be able to talk about the various types of sensitivity, because I think that sensitivity cannot be unique but, in my opinion, it must be made up of many factors. What do I know: there are those who are sensitive to music, there are those who are sensitive to a good meal, there are those who are sensitive… in short: is it a unique sensitivity or are there many different types of sensitivity? Zifed

Indeed, sensitivity, as we understand it, is not limited only to one aspect of this faculty, but is necessarily constituted by a series of factors which then converge into something greater than the simple sum of the factors.
So let's say that real sensitivity is a bit like a multi-faceted diamond.
However, keeping in mind what our friend Boris said before, it must also be emphasized that the various facets of this diamond become more or less important depending on the evolutionary moment of the individual: each face of the diamond - for the entire course of the evolution of the individual - does not shine with the same light as others, but there is a certain gradualness in assuming importance.

The first factor, the one that first assumes importance towards research, the finding of true sensitivity, that sensitivity that embraces everything, is undoubtedly the physical sensitivity.
On the other hand, it is enough that you observe a child to realize how his path from child to adult is such that the sensitivity of his physical body changes greatly and almost always - except in particular cases due to very specific physiological circumstances - the A child's body has a physical sensitivity that is refined over time.
However, this physical sensitivity is not only related to what are the sensorial, physiological stimuli of the individual, but there is also a large part due to what the experience is and what the mind is. In fact, any physical stimulus can be perceived more deeply and in a broader way when there has already been a previous experience of this stimulus and when the mind has managed to catalog and understand the stimulus itself.
There is therefore a complex interaction between physiological stimuli, mental stimuli and stimuli due to experience. Andrea

Another aspect of sensitivity is that particular sensation that man finds himself experiencing when he is in particular moments of union, of fusion with nature.
Of course it has happened to each of you to live an experience in contact with nature so immediate and vivid as to make you move internally, to make you feel for a moment interior and part of nature itself. Although this is usually interpreted as a symptom of fusion with the Whole, in reality, in the majority of cases, this is due to the heritage that each individual carries with , due to non-human incarnations.
In fact, every human being - after having crossed the plant world and the animal world - retains in his depths the knowledge and awareness of having been part of those worlds, experiences that are deeply marked in his Akasic body and that as such, therefore, are the basis of the sensitivity of the individual.
There can be no individual embodied in a human being who sooner or later in the course of his life, facing the silence of a forest, facing a boundless horizon, like the one that can be seen from the top of a mountain, facing to a seething sea or even in front of a small flower or a bee, does not feel suddenly involved and does not feel the reminiscence of the time when he too was an active, living and direct part of that type of environment , of that kind of life.
This, therefore, is another factor of the individual's sensitivity, another factor that has helped the individual to expand - in the course of his evolution - the rudiments of his true sensitivity. Hiawatha

If this discourse is valid for what has just been mentioned, a slightly different discourse can be made, instead, as regards the individual sensitivity towards art forms, towards music, painting, sculpture and so on.
Undoubtedly, every individual finds himself in his existence vibrating with sudden emotions, finding himself sensitive in listening, for example, to a particular succession of musical sounds, or in observing a painting or a statue.
It is common opinion that this is an indication of a particular sensitivity of the individual who finds himself in those conditions.
In reality the situation is slightly different, as can be understood by thinking about what was said in the last meeting: in fact what vibrates when listening to music, what echoes within the individual when observing a painting or a statue is not the sensitivity of the individual is so much understood as the total capacity to be part of the Whole, to participate, to be in communion, to be therefore, truly sensitive towards what he observes, but it is theIo of the individual himself who in that particular succession of vibrations or in that particular scene represented, or in that particular sculpted expression, finds something of himself externalized, something that strikes his sensitivity and that, for a moment, sharpens it.
It is therefore not, in these cases, a discourse of real sensitivity on the part of the individual but it is only a transpire in the individual himself - under a stimulus coming from outside - of what he did not know about himself or held, perhaps, carefully hidden from his own eyes.
On the other hand, if this were not the case, it must necessarily be that a particular music causes all human beings embodied to vibrate in the same way, which is not the case. Weather

Of all the facets of sensitivity, the sensitivity towards religious things it is the most difficult to define and generalize.
There is no doubt that in any epoch and at any stage of his evolution, man possesses within himself - even if he does not realize it - a certain mystical sense, a certain tendency to try to reach the Absolute, the Whole, a certain tendency to seek, to discover, to even want a God.
As I said, this is therefore a factor common to all men, not only to those evolved but also to those of every degree of the scale of evolution.
Then there is the truly evolved man, the one who feels this mystical sense, feels the presence not only outside but also within himself of a God and, suddenly, feels as if he is submerged by this presence, thus becoming, in some way , united with it and receiving from this union an "increase", if we can say so, from one's own sensitivity.
Then there are those who are children and heirs of a religious tradition, most of the time found and not reached, most of the time imposed and pointed out as a sublime thing and used as a push, as an inhibiting brake and on and on and on.
Here then is that when the ego is faced with unsustainable situations, when it feels frustrated, when it realizes that it is unable to actually be what it would like to be due to its will to power, it seeks the easiest way out, that to suddenly become (and by a sort of inner miracle) a servant of God or - even - his prophet or - even - he or she who from this God has received and receives not only words, not only messages, not only love, but even tangible signs (see stigmata and such).
I guarantee you, creatures, that in this case more than sensitivity we can speak of the ego's ambition in trying to show how important it is, so important that even the Absolute deigns to use it in a striking way to make it act as a spokesperson. , or to show what he wishes to show to men, as if the Absolute really needed such things to show his greatness, when it is enough to look around and observe a mountain, a starry sky, a river or, even, the waters exhaust of a factory, to realize how much God really manifests, always and everywhere, his immensity.
In these cases I repeat, creatures, we cannot speak of true sensitivity, but we can speak of suggestion, of the will to power, of the desire for power, of the desire to appear different from what one is, all combined with an evil religiosity. interpreted and worse introjected.

Of course, in the course of human history there have also been people who have actually found, have reached this contact with God and in some cases even have had exactly what I previously stigmatized, namely wounds in the side or feet or hands, however these outward signs were still vestiges of what the ego tended to desire.
Because you must not believe that as soon as the individual manages to get in touch in some way with the Absolute, suddenly - as if by a miracle - the Ego dissolves definitively: it is not so easy, because if it were so every time that the an individual feels pervaded by that almost mystical sense of union with nature, or in any other situation that was mentioned earlier, the ego should no longer rise again but should dissolve definitively and disappear forever.
This is not the case, because the ego is hard to die, and not only is it hard to die, but it is also ready to react immediately, trying to make an element in its favor what seemed a moment before something that could destroy it.
It is a bit of the same speech that was made to you a long time ago regarding the teaching of "know thyself": of course, know thyself is, remains and will remain one of the main teachings, a stage that must necessarily be crossed by the individual in order to then be able to access subsequent stages, but be careful because even this teaching can end up being exploited by the ego; in fact the ego can take advantage of this teaching to stop the mind of the individual who tries to analyze himself on what is most convenient, on the first answer perhaps, making sure that the satisfied mind stops and the true answer, the deepest one. , that of his own intimate, continue to remain buried there, where he wants it to be. Blessed be humility, blessed be simplicity.
We thank the divine for having given us the ability to be able to savor and enjoy the simple things, the little things.
Blessed be the glass of fresh spring water, blessed be the humble food that the earth offers us, blessed be all that is around us and that somehow belongs to us.
But you, you who have this ability, who are able to enjoy only these little things, why be surprised in front of those who still need the exterior?
At the most it would be understandable, on your part, to regret, regret seeing your brothers still tied to something that does not belong to them.
But if their world is made up of these things, if their way is marked by the desire to possess these things, to show off these things, why not yet succeed on your part (just you who manage to smile in observing simplicity del fiore) to find a clean look, a smile for these brothers who, in some way, show you that they need help to understand that their being of this world is not made to be successful among men, it is not made to have power, is it not made to show objects that have a value today but will lose it tomorrow?
So try - you who are so simple and so humble intimately - to be so simple and so humble even in the moments in which the anxiety of your brother somehow manages to overwhelm you; do not get involved totally, do not run away from situations such as those you may have experienced recently, but face them directly, never losing sight of who you really are, showing all your simplicity, all your humility, because only in this way can you also help those people who - don't forget - are here with you in the physical world because they need experiences and, in some way, they need you just as you have them. fabius

Sensitivity is that which is directed not only towards people who also feel similar, not only towards people who know how to love, enjoy and rejoice in the same things that you love, enjoy and enjoy yourself, but sensitivity is also what manifests itself when it is possible to be at ease even with someone who is completely different in his position, his evolutionary needs, his personal problems, being able to understand that if that person is so different and, perhaps, he is unable to understand and achieve what perhaps you at least in part you have now understood and reached, this is not for malice or for other negative talent, but it is because it simply has such problems that they manage to overwhelm what is best in it.
Towards these people, in fact, your sensitivity - if it really is sensitivity - must be able to make you more complacent, it must be able to make you find a way to stretch out your hands, even if perhaps the first impulse would be to run away and get away. to avoid an uncomfortable situation.
Therefore, children and brothers, also being able to hear the problems of those who are very different - as evolution and how to feel - from themselves is part of the sensitivity.. Ananda

  1. Continuously I can see my self emerge in situations and a sense of compassion continually arises as I likewise see the behavior of the other as an expression of his understood and not understood.

  2. Subtle, clear, defined, this discourse on sensitivity.
How many implications and how many nuances.
One thing I liked is contemplating the greatness of God in the waste of an industry ..
Not that I can see it in those exhausts but that possibility hooked me ..
The equation that I do trivially is that what is intact, original like nature, pure, unpolluted is god and the mind of man is a deviance, a distortion.
But that self that wants recognition, become powerful and invent a thousand forms, well that self that is so destructive is god.

  3. "Therefore, children and brothers, also being able to feel the problems of those who are very different - as evolution and how to feel - from themselves is part of sensitivity."
Now it is very difficult for me to implement it in the tiring family workshop. It helps me.
    Thanks Ananda
