The ambivalence of the real [IF45focus]

To make you fully understand the concept of ambivalence of reality, as we understand it, we must necessarily refer to concepts set out in the past and, in particular, we must turn our attention to when we said that each of you, as an embodied being, perceives only an appearance of a part of the Absolute Reality. .

Let me explain better: you, just as embodied beings, do not have the means, the necessary tools, sufficient to be able to understand Reality in its totality and, precisely because of these limitations, you are immersed in what we have called a relative or partial reality which - as you can imagine by yourself - it is something quite different from the Absolute Reality.

You perceive only an appearance of this relative reality in which you live for two very specific reasons:

  • in the first place because, by your very nature, you tend to give real value only to what you perceive;
  • secondly, because you give real value to your perceived following a logic that reflects yours feel and, consequently, your evolutionary needs; so you can imagine how this appearance of a part of the Absolute Reality is something far from the Reality with the capital "R" I was telling you about earlier.

This is a very important point of teaching because it carries with it the implications are not indifferent. We will certainly not list them this evening, also because we have already talked about them in the past; instead we will try to see how the concept of the ambivalence of reality intertwines in all this, always starting from the fact that you perceive only an appearance of relative reality.

Of this perception of this appearance of relative reality it happens, at a certain point, that it exists the tendency to give a connotation, a positive or negative value to the perceived, and the ambivalence is simply this: positive and negative, which is however something very different from what we have already defined in the past (light - dark; masculine - feminine, etc.), also because the opposites of in themselves they exist objectively as complementary and different aspects of the same thing.

Now, I believe that none of us can deny the fact that - for example - the masculine and the feminine exist per se, but from saying that they exist, to giving them a negative or positive attribution there is a big difference; therefore it means that at a certain point something must necessarily come into play for which these two aspects take on a different connotation depending on the individual and, at times, also on the circumstances.
So it may also happen that the same aspect can be experienced in a positive or negative way according to the moments and circumstancesin fact.

We can therefore affirm that duality, dualism, which is a necessary condition for the existence of the universe, at this point exists objectively, but has no value in itself. The attribution of value is given simply by your own operation for which you are totally responsible, just as you are responsible for attributing a positive and negative value to the same aspect of reality.

We can still say - if we will - that this process, this attribution of value that you make can be regarded as an evolutionary necessity and it is something, however, that is slightly different, even if similar in dynamics, from what we have called in the past “the subjective perception of reality.

  • Readings for the interior: every day a short spiritual reading of the Cerchio Ifior and the Cerchio Firenze 77, up Whatsapp and Telegram.
  • Summary of the philosophical teaching of the Ifior Circle: HOW CONSCIOUSNESS CREATES PERSONAL REALITY, you can order here the book. If you're reading this and want support, write.

In fact, while the subjective perception of reality can be considered limited to the perception of the physical senses - in fact for this very reason it has been called "perception" - and therefore closely linked to the limits that these physical senses have, the attribution of a value can be considered a sort of re-elaboration of the perceived that takes place at the astral and mental level, so that two individuals - in front of the same stimulus - may have a different perception but the attribution of a positive or negative value will be given by a re-elaboration of the perceived at the astral level and mental.

To go back to an example we had done in the past, if we put two individuals in front of a mountain, according to the law of subjective perception of reality it could happen that one individual sees it pink and the other sees it green; it will then be the structuring of the other bodies of those individuals and the vibrations that the perceived will send to these bodies (different for the two individuals) that will make them attribute a different value to what they perceive, so that both will be able to say "My mountain is beautiful (or ugly ") or even arriving, absurdly - and perhaps this makes the idea even better - to say" My mountain is more beautiful than yours ", while the mountain is the mountain, full stop.

There is one more thing to keep in mind in all this speech, which is very important: this possibility (or this ability, as you want to call it) to give a positive or negative attribution to your perception is something transitory and momentary, so that the same circumstance, the same thing, an event, a thought, which you experience as negative, could become something so positive in the near future that you even desire it.

This process, this change, this typical inconstancy of your human being should not be seen as something bad; indeed, it should provide you with more stimuli to review your interiority, to re-evaluate the certainties you have reached; in short, it should provide you with stimuli - to put it in a nutshell - to help you get to know yourself better.

The ambivalence of reality - we can then affirm, just to conclude this speech in some way - it is an evolutionary necessity; where, however, there is dynamism, where however there is the desire and the will to relate the results of both positive and negative experiences, in such a way as to be able to have a broader vision of oneself. 1. Subjective vision therefore has a very specific function.
The dual allows us to compare, to grasp the different aspects of a fact. We gradually learn that reality is complex, until we discover every veil and open ourselves to the Real.

    • So there is the subjective perception of reality, given by the senses and the subjective connotation of reality given by the other two bodies.
It is important to know that the connotations of the same perceived change according to the times and circumstances and this change should lead us to know ourselves better.
