The three phases of existence: knowledge, awareness, understanding [io5]

The topic at a glance
Important post that deals with the three phases, simultaneous and successive, of knowledge, awareness and understanding.

To get a better understanding of what I have proposed previously, it is necessary to talk about a distinction that we made some time ago and which directly concerns the possibility that each individual has to tear shreds from the veil of his own illusion.

1 The first phase that the individual goes through in the discovery of himself is what we have defined with the term knowledge.
With it we mean that the individual, in the course of various lives, comes into contact with all the important reasons to be recognized for his inner growth but, since he is not yet able to objectively observe himself and his ways of being, he sees them in the people who, from time to time, life puts at his side.

In this phase the influence of theIo. In fact, it makes a selection in the things it perceives in others and, almost always, it detects those defects that it too possesses, pointing the accusing finger on them in such a way as to distract himself and others from what belongs to them, stigmatizing and highlighting the speck of others so as to appear superior and lacking of what, underneath, he recognizes as a defect.

In this way the embodied individual finds himself in front of the range of all his own non-understandings, recognizing them in those around him, and since helping others, in the eye of the Ego, is synonymous with being superior. and more powerful, the individual finds himself practicing on others to try to dismantle their illusions. It is clear that at this stage the intention can only be selfish: how could it be otherwise, since it is almost totally governed by the ego?

The first signs of a possible defeat of the ego by the man of good will are felt in the moment in which there is the transition to second stage of the process, awareness.

2 Having acquired, in fact, the knowledge of the various interior themes that concern him more closely and personally, and of the way in which they seem to manifest themselves in others, the individual can undoubtedly ignore it and, for a certain time, continue to point out the others as examples of errors and bad actions, but, sooner or later, existence will put before him an experience so clear and evident that it will breach the presumption of his ego, forcing him to bend to the evidence that a particular movement interior that he tended to detect in others is not unknown to him but, on the contrary, belongs to him without any shadow of doubt.

Think, to give a daily example, dear ones, how many times you "brand" with disapproval a companion of your adventure on the physical level as presumptuous and then you realize that you often behave in an equally presumptuous way!

This passage is a delicate moment: while during the first phase there was an apparent security and happiness under the wave of ego satisfaction of feeling better than others, find out that it falls within the mediocre fallacy it wobbles the self-confidence with repercussions in its worldview, by doing so feel more unstable, more insecure, more fearful of further discoveries that could damage his self-image.

If you want a practical example of this situation, remember your passage from childhood to adulthood: the image of yourself must necessarily change and you have had to abandon what was an existence, for the most part, devoid of responsibility. and happy because you were the center of attention in your small family environment.

Your ego, then, had to radically change the conception of itself and went through those moments of instability, due to its trying to reconstruct an image, which is defined pubertal age, in which even his physical body seems to become gradually unrecognizable to the ego as architecture and perceptions.

The stage of awareness is, therefore, the most tormented and, also, the longest to cross because it accompanies the wholeevolution of the individual as a human being, while the knowledge phase it occurs ninety percent in the initial lives.

3 The speech becomes complicated when the third stage, that of comprehension: after having known the various internal problems in others and having come to the perception that they are not alien to us but that they also act in us, the acceptance of them and their explanation is at hand so that they come to be understood and, as such, they create a different order in the feeling of consciousness that is structured more completely with each understanding achieved.

As knowledge is expressed more in the first existences, the understanding takes place more closely towards the last existences.

What you cannot understand in this speech, our children, is how come the moment you have reached an understanding you don't seem different from a moment before. But it is not you who do not understand, it is your ego that tries to exploit understanding as well, expecting from these achievements an improvement in his image and, therefore, an increase in self-esteem. It cannot be so, and for various reasons.

  • First of all why understanding usually concerns one aspect of the factor and not the whole factor as a whole (and this gives reason for the fact that it is difficult for an understanding reached to bring about a radical modification of one's way of being).
  • Secondly, why each understanding is connected to all the others through common nuances, so that, if these nuances are not in turn understood, the behavior remains uncertain and cannot suddenly change in a felt way.
  • Thirdly your lower bodies they were built on the basis of the misunderstandings that you had before you incarnated, so that they may not have the practical means to implement the new understandings reached (for example if before the incarnation you had not understood that even a caress is a great sign of love, when the understanding of this element comes to you, your astral body may not be structured to wish to manifest your love for another person in this physical way).
  • Fourthly you are not necessarily aware of the changes due to the enlargement of your feeling: what you have understood is no longer a disturbing element as it was when it was not understood: it flows quietly, it does not cause you problems and, therefore, the ego not only does not recognize it, but does not have the need to do so as it does not constitute a cause for alarm for its existence.

We understand, children and brothers, the difficulties inherent in all this: unlike almost all religions we give you ethical indications that do not promise heaven, but it seems that we offer you the idea of working hard to change yourselves with the sole effect. not to notice the result of your effort!

But it is the I, dear ones, that slyly whispers to you to desist from doing, based on the mistaken idea of a nonexistent reward. The reward exists, friends, it is inherent in every step you take: perhaps it is not a big enough reward to take away the suffering from you or, at least, to be able to make it less aggressive?

And if this is still not enough for you, keep in mind, and keep it in your hearts, that the day will come when, after having appeared first and then protagonists, you will participate in the great direction that gives shape to the whole manifested.

  1. Important topic for understanding how to get to understandings.
I thought that knowledge, awareness and understanding went together in an incarnation, but as I understand it, it doesn't. But even in the first incarnations, understandings are reached, even if they are partial, otherwise the feeling does not begin to form.
