Until you no longer desire, if not the good of others

D - If it is true as it is true that desire is something that makes ours expand Io, how can I improve myself without wishing to improve?
Ah, you can't, you absolutely can't!

Q - So, every time I want to improve myself, do I expand my ego?

Certainly, but it is really a normal and I would say necessary process, contemplated by the Design of the Absolute; that is the constitution - through the passage in the mineral, vegetable and animal phases - of an ego of the human being.

This ego tends to enlarge, to expand, to become more and more complicated, to become more and more expressive towards the outside in an attempt to become master of the reality that surrounds it, and it is precisely from this clash with the reality that surrounds it that the desire to possess this reality external to itself.

  • Readings for the interior: every day a short spiritual reading of the Cerchio Ifior and the Cerchio Firenze 77, up Whatsapp and Telegram.
  • Summary of the philosophical teaching of the Ifior Circle: HOW CONSCIOUSNESS CREATES PERSONAL REALITY, you can order here the book. If you're reading this and want support, write.

It is therefore thanks to the desire that the ego, little by little, manages to lose part of its effectiveness because the individual acquires the awareness of the uselessness of one's desires, of the error of certain desires, of the fact that certain desires could be much more well used if moved in other directions.

There is therefore, a little at a time, the change in the form of desire until you get to desire nothing more; until (far away for all of you and also for me) we realize that wishing, after all, is a pretty stupid thing. The most beautiful wishes that one can get to make, when one is embodied, is to wish the good of others.

All of you will say, “Ah, that's a good thing! I wish I could wish for the good of others! ”. Sure, I agree with you, it's a good thing, we all wish you were already like this and that we were already like that when we return to the physical plane!
But it is not true that that is the most beautiful thing, because the time will come when you will be sure that everything that happens is already for the good of others, so it is not even necessary to desire that!

D - So also the fact that, commonly, man thinks that being able to choose is a form of freedom, in reality being able to choose is anything but freedom because, behind this, there is desire.

Certainly, so much so that there is already a choice in the type of freedom. The fact that one chooses one kind of freedom and not another means that he wants that kind of freedom more. Geogei

  2. Woe to us, however, for setting our goal too high.
    Let me explain.
The Guides clearly speak of a distant goal, even far away to them that they lack certain tools that make desires (astral body, physical body, mental body).
As long as we feel the desires, it is our consciousness that comes to understand there.
We do not put on a monk's habit when we are not yet monks; we do not dress up as little lambs when we are still wolves.
In other words, we try to live what arises from us, whether they are desires or are the absence of desires, simply by observing ourselves.
If the desire didn't have to be, we would have been born stones or already saints. Perhaps.
