The detachment of the astral body from the physical body at the time of death (IF7)

Philosophical teaching 7
It is my intention to provide you with a few small elements regarding the detachment of the astral body from the physical body at the time of death.
Certainly, those who have already read our messages will remember one in which the nadis were spoken (see the last part of this post) and io I tell you that what was said then has a considerable connection with the detachment of the astral body from the physical body at the moment of death.
We had in fact affirmed that in the whole physical body of every individual there are thousands and thousands of very small points, which are responsible for receiving and transmitting vibrations between the physical plane and the other planes of existence.
These vibrations then diversify into various forms, but the forms that interest us mainly this evening are those of the electromagnetic type.
Well, from these nadis vibrations are emitted which are those which keep the astral body and the other bodies bound to the physical body; practically they act as a point of contact between the physical body and the other planes of existence. Now, it happens that, at the moment of death, little by little all these nadis cease to function and thus, gradually, the astral body finds itself dissolved from the physical body; this is why the physical body usually remains linked to the astral body for about 36 hours from the moment in which, usually, official death is recognized.
In fact, this period of time (which I express in a figure, but which actually varies from case to case, albeit within rather narrow limits) is necessary for the astral body to be definitively released from the physical body. This may seem like a statement posed as a dogma, but it is not so: as has been said before, what we say must have its own internal logic in order to be acceptable; so, if for the moment I cannot provide you with a better logic, I will limit myself to reminding you that in recent times by the scientists of your physical world it has been recognized that electromagnetic activity (not only of the brain but of the whole body) also continues several hours after clinical death is recognized.
Here: I affirm that this activity, found in the human body when it apparently no longer possesses life, is due precisely to the functioning of these nadis which, little by little, are "dying out", but which continue for some time to work; and they continue to function until the whole astral body is completely detached from the physical body. Scifo

Astral plane
Up to this moment we have talked about what happens at the moment of death, and it has been said that the physical body remains inanimate, while those particular points which are on the surface of the physical body, and which by some currents are called nadis, stop function so that the astral body can detach itself from the physical body.
At this point the individual, the ego that was mainly conscious in the physical body, is now conscious mainly on the astral plane, which, as we have said several times, is governed by sensations, emotions, passions.
In this plane the individual stops to re-examine his entire life and, through the matter of the astral plane (which is completely different from that of the physical plane), creates fictitious worlds in which the individual finds himself still living his own. sensory amplified emotions, trying to fully understand their experiences. A little at a time the understanding makes its way into him and then he begins to strip himself of the astral matter and, therefore, to overcome the most strictly emotional part of his life. When he is stripped of all astral matter, he will find himself on the threshold of the mental plane.

Mental plane
From this moment on, his main characteristic will be that of having a very lucid, very coherent, very rational reasoning and he will be able to reexamine his life once again, this time rationally, trying to see what his real motivations, his intentions were. On a rational level he will not be able to hide absolutely nothing of what prompted him to act during his life. Also in this plane, this time through the strength of his thought, he will be able to experience particular situations, situations - logically - not of a sensorial type but strictly of a mental type, until he will be able, little by little, to overcome this phase and with it the mental plane, up to being on the Akasic plane.

Akasic plan
The Akasic plane, as we have said, is the plane of consciousness in which all the experience that the individual has undergone during his lives resides; arrived at this level the individual will find himself in a different situation according to his degree of evolution.
If his evolution is somewhat limited, then he will fall asleep (and we say "falling asleep" only to express a condition, a state, because, while continuing to have a certain inner life of his own, he will not be able to be influenced by what is happening around him. in the Akasic plane; just as a deaf person cannot react to the noises that are around him in the physical plane). If, on the other hand, his evolution of him was already at a good point, so that his Akasic senses are well developed, he will have the possibility to contact the other brothers who are within that plane.
At this point, when the entity is in the Akasic plane, a little at a time it will receive particular impulses for which, at a certain moment, it will find itself incarnating again. Boris

The Akasic plan, a somewhat strange, somewhat unusual term; I will try to spend a few words to frame this plan.
Those of you who are interested in esotericism, not limiting yourself to a single current but making a general idea of it, will have encountered, mentioned in several esoteric currents, this akasic plane. And if he has not met him directly, he will have happened to read terms such as "The Books of Akasa", or "Chronicles of Akasa" or, for those who know somehow the Rosicrucian theories, "The Library of Invisible Masters".
Well, all these terms are nothing more than a different interpretation of the same thing, namely the first subplane of the Akasic plane.
"Yes - you will say - sub-plane, until now no one had talked about sub-plane!" Of course, you are right, up to this moment, just in order not to confuse the ideas, since the subject was already somewhat confused, it did not seem appropriate to talk about subplanes; that is, there was no need to say again that each plane, from the physical to the astral, to the mental, to the akasic and on and on, is in turn divided, schematically, into seven different layers that we prefer to call , for simplicity, undermounts.
What are the characteristics of these subplanes? They are simply seven different levels of density, they are those famous layers that we said are abandoned as the entity passes from one plane to another; we mean that every entity that passes through a plane, in order to be able to move from this plane through to the next, must gradually abandon densities of matter, which we call layers; hence, from this comes the definition of "layer" that was recently requested of us and which was interpreted by some - I hope in an ironic sense - as slices of ham!
Returning therefore to the Akasic plane, in this first sub-plane there is a particular characteristic: in it, in fact, there is the chronicle of everything that happens in the part manifested to you of creation; that is, everything that has happened, is happening and will happen in the physical plane already exists.
This is why this floor is called a library or archive or chronicle: because anyone who manages to reach this floor with a certain conscience has the possibility of consulting all the images present in this density of matter. Scifo

  1. Knowing what is beyond the physical plane is very fascinating and comforting. For me, who still struggle to extricate myself from small and large earthly matters, it seems a world so far away. It is like when I approach the subjects of physics or the laws that govern the Cosmos. I understand little or nothing about it, but it allows me to reposition myself in my place, that is, no longer in the center, but in an indefinite point in the Universe. Over time, perhaps, understanding what happens beyond the illusion we call life, will be of greater interest and clarity, compared to the present moment in which I am more committed to trying to grasp the meaning of every fact that I experience in everyday life.

  2. In fact, knowing all this gives me the idea of how infinitesimal my life is, and how I could deal with it more lightly. I will try to laugh at myself more often and not take myself too seriously in my different roles. Thank you

  3. As for Natasha, I too hear this fascinating explanation, but far from my present. Trust does not make me think too much about then, it is instead the workshop that absorbs all the energies.
    thank you

The growing child certainly does not feel the need to measure himself with grammar, yet the adult proposes it to him and expects him to learn.
Knowing the grammar will be useful to the child throughout his life, although in the present he has other urgencies and other interests.
The adult in hearing proposes existential grammars, useful for acquiring an overall picture of living and dying.
Dear sisters, is it enough for you to know that life does not end with death? It doesn't take much. Is it enough for you to know that that young woman, M., who left us last week, is still alive, and you are not interested in knowing, at least briefly, how she is? Pity. Knowing how and what she lives, would illuminate our life a lot and would provide us with many elements to allow us to understand more deeply our daily life and our fatigue, her reasons.
Are they just esoteric curiosities and do we have other hardships to face? If I may say, get rid of some chores and try to know the many levels of living, it will be of precious help to you in the days of this and the other life.
Otherwise you will make the mistake of that poor man who wants to be taught to build a fishing rod, but refuses help because he is too hungry and his urgency leads him to continue fishing with his hands.
Or make the mistake of delegating someone to take care of the construction of fishing rods, a technique that he will then tell you about and rods that he will sell you: but, alas, knowledge cannot be bought.

  4. It gives me a great breath to read such clear words of topics that, even if I know, they are, in this way, even more impressed! The point is that we can finally break free from that smoky, bucolic and very little credible world of a soul that wanders in another world for eternity. The path is clear, traced, coherent and logical. Thank you!

  5. It does not seem to me that the attitude is of one who does not want to learn, to remain anchored to daily chores and be satisfied with the little she knows. In reality, on the contrary, I am afraid of feeding a vision full of charm and consolation, perhaps the theme, as it appears to me, because I do not have the alphabets to understand it. You are right to urge me to learn "grammar", but I believe that the tasks I live are also useful for learning. It all depends on how you face the facts of life. Probably the mere fact of having a physical body limits the possibility of experiencing the more "subtle" bodies, at least for most of us. So talking about other dimensions, what happens after physical death is an act of trust. I feel it is deeply true, but not because someone has explained it to me. On the other hand, to imprint life on what will come next, in the perspective of the Akasic dimension, now seems premature to me. At each stage of our evolutionary history, certain experiences are lived and related understandings acquired. Therefore it is not out of laziness that I don't dedicate myself to the afterlife, but out of a sort of modesty. The mystery will be revealed when I become a part of it and new visions and new understandings open up to be achieved.

    • To Natasha: I know how much you and Anna are committed and dedicated to the path of knowledge and awareness.
Everything is useful for learning and it is certainly not a question of shifting one's dedication from everyday life to the study of the after-death.
It is about cultivating a broad gaze. Life incarnate and life incarnate are an inseparable unity, they complement each other and one prepares the other.
Just one element, by way of example: when the physical body is abandoned by consciousness, its densest vehicle becomes the astral body.
With that body, and on that plane, the individuality sees backwards, and feels emotionally, all the scenes of his past life in which he has particularly marked a limit of understanding: he suffers in himself the pain caused to others, amplified.
This is how the two lives become and are inseparable unity: knowing this is not abandoning oneself to consolation, that passage for the astral plane and the next, where one's intentions are analyzed, for the mental plane, has very little consolation. Knowing this can lead, for example, to be more alert now, more attentive to intentions and selfishness, or to abuse, or to the instrumental use of the other: knowing that we will be accountable to ourselves tomorrow for everything, perhaps it helps us. to be more lucid and present today.
"On the other hand, imprinting life on what will come later, from the perspective of the Akasic dimension, seems premature": sometimes I find myself witnessing life in feeling, I do it so that you have a clear path to take: the end does not it is projecting yourself into a state that, if it is not mature, is only illusion and dream, but that of enlightening your way, of showing you your steps and where they lead.
You will remember that a Master spoke a lot about the Kingdom: did he do it to appease his disciples? I do not believe. Showing the horizon creates clarity within as to which direction to go, and develops a conscious tension between the now and the not-yet. The person sees simultaneously what he is, and what he will become and can thus shape his life, for what he is given to do.
This tension is lost when you immerse yourself too deeply in the present and identify with it: of course, that present will teach you the necessary but, how many times, if we had a broader view, could we proceed with more lightness? Doesn't the identification also derive from a limit of unitary vision of the processes?

  6. Thank you. Reading the comments helped me to dispel some doubts derived from reading the post. I share the usefulness of knowing what happens next to be more alert now. The only doubt I have left is this: why towards the beginning do we talk about sensations about the astral body? Aren't they the prerogative of the physical one, as we always say?

  7. From our point of view as embodied on the physical plane we are used to considering the physical body as the center of what we live but the Guides have taught us that this is not really the case. The physical body (which has the main function of acting as an interface between the experience lived during the incarnation and the other components of the individual) collects the perceptions of what lives on the physical plane and transmits its characteristics to his other bodies that they have the task of elaborating them.
Thus, perceptions come into contact, for example, with the astral body - which manages emotions and sensations - which modulates them according to the vibrations that compose it and the data processed within it are sent back to the physical body to allow it to express itself inside. of the physical plane.
The sensations, therefore, actually come from the astral plane and the physical body receives them and uses them to manifest the individual with his or her heritage of understandings and misunderstandings in the course of the incarnational process.
I think it is a very complex concept and truly understandable from the logical point of view only taking into account the transmission of data from body to body through the vibratory flows that circulate within the embodied individuality and its various bodies.
This, at least, is what I understood and that I hope to be able to convey!

  8. While recognizing the usefulness of these notions, I feel them distant but at the same time real and reassuring… probably that ability to look up is missing. Thank you.

  10. This topic is very familiar to me given the experience I had in my tender childhood as I have already had the opportunity to illustrate to you and therefore I can confirm how precise the description of what happens at the moment of passing away is ... Liberating moment that leads to an explosion of happiness for the newfound freedom from a body too narrow for an immense and luminous spirit as we really are
