Believe and change: no one can do it for us

Father, my father,
once again you have allowed Your voice to reach me through Your messengers, and yet another very sad time, my Father, io I wonder how much all this can serve me, observing myself in everyday life in which I forget the moments of serenity, the moments of peace, the moments of almost bliss and I become the mean being who always and only continues to think about himself himself, and does not know how to turn his gaze around to wipe away even a single tear from his own brother.

My father,
what are these messengers of yours for when I go into the world driven only by the desire to earn, to possess, to show off my ego, to make works of art, to write, to speak, to make others enjoy my works of art ability when You, instead, through Your messengers, teach me humility, simplicity, teach me to enjoy even just silence?

My father,
it is useless for You to continue to send me these voices, it is useless for You to try to make me mature, because I inevitably continue to be the selfish man that I still feel inside me today.

If only You could help me, my Father, if only You were able to give me an indication, but not only simply through these voices that remain voices and that's it, but directly with something true and tangible that gratifies me in some way in the my deepest self, then I too, my Father, would be able to really smile.
No more words then, my Father, but something more. Thank you. Viola

My son,
you expect from me what I don't want to do,
you expect me to give body to your desires,
that I satisfy your needs,
that I satisfy what you want not only by praying
but even demanding that I do that.

Yet, my son,
if I gave you a mind it was because
you learned to use this sensitive instrument that I created for you,
it was so that you could get a grip on logic
and - through logic - make your thoughts and desires more just, more true, more directed towards me.

If you listened to yourself, my son, when you ask, implore and demand,
if you were attentive to the absurdity of your words,
if you used your words to carefully sift what you say,
rest assured, my son, that your face would turn red and you would be silent.

Do you really think I can do for you what you yourself can't do?
Do you really think I could convince you without coming to compulsion?
Because no individual can be truly convinced against his will.
Do you really think that I could create some phenomenon for you wonderful, unheard of and mind-blowing
that can break through your disbelief,
that can ensure that at any moment you find the trust not only in me
but even in yourself?

I guarantee you, my son,
that no matter how many wonders it has placed for you in the world,
for how many wonders for you placed on those plans that you don't know,
for how many wonders I, above all, my son,
has room within you, there is none
which can be convincing for you if you don't want to be convinced.

Your prayer, therefore,
my son, she is picked up by the wind
but it is dispersed by the wind.
And my answer, my son,
I have entrusted it to the wind
but you weren't able to grasp it. Scifo

  1. This delegating to others, it seems to me, is like accusing someone else when instead it is always our responsibility ... sometimes alas, I still forget it!

  2. The mind seeks evidence. If one is not identified with the mind, there is no need to find evidence. You just live because the reality that presents itself does not need anything else.

  3. I have everything I need! It is my responsibility to exploit the potential that Life has made available to me.
