The knowledge to the mental body and, of course, the understandings to the Akasic body, right? In this mechanism there is no cunning, there can be no cunning, there can be no room for cunning, since these rational and logical processes of the mind do not act for a particular advantage, but act towards a direction that is given by the Akasic body.

Now you will say: "then it is the Akasic body that is smart." Not even the Akasic body is smart, because it does not act for a gain, to obtain something, it simply acts pushed by the inner needs of widening its own consciousness to get to embrace more and more the reality of itself and therefore also of everything in which it is immersed.

The adjective clever, therefore, cannot be attributed to any other part of the mental sphere of the individual and the mental environment of the individual, other than that relating to theIo.

Here is where you can find the real cunning, that cunning that really is directed towards a real advantage, that cunning that really makes it possible to circumvent choices when the choices are uncomfortable, that cunning that makes "sons and stepchildren" be made, which makes you decide if something is good or if something is bad for the sake of a moment, if someone is nice or if someone is unpleasant for the satisfaction or not that it can give to the ego itself.

Here then, as we will see later when we talk about the mental body in its complexity, that one thing is the mental body with its processes, and another is how this mental body manifests itself when it comes to be carried out within the physical plane in to which the individual, to whom that mental body belongs, is activated.

Of course, you must keep in mind that the logical and rational processes of the mental body in arriving to create a path to arrive at the manifestation on the physical plane, pass through the astral vibrations, therefore to the vibrations of emotions, of desire, and also pass through the perceptions of the physical body, contributing, together with the astral and the physical ones, to constitute that illusory puppet that we have defined "I". 

It is therefore clear that astral vibrations with desire modify mental vibrations by directing the reasoning of the mind, and therefore of the organ in charge of receiving the influences of the mind on the physical plane, that is the brain, towards behaviors that tend to fulfill desires and following or rejecting emotions; ultimately causing the ego to manifest itself with all its supposed cunning within the physical plane.
