Dreams and desires: stimuli for evolution, or blocking factors (ca8)

The rhythm of human life is marked by periods of wakefulness alternating with those of sleep.
This extraordinary mechanism in which the "common" consciousness of oneself is transformed into a dreamlike consciousness, protean and subjected to unusual mechanics in the waking period, has always been considered a fascinating mystery since the dawn of time but, without knowing at least partially the true essence of man and his constitution on the various planes of existence, the investigator of sleep has always been difficult not to look at that strange phenomenon without a deep sense of magical expectation but, also, of ill-concealed fear.
In fact, while the world of sleep is striking for its strange dynamics and the wonders it can bring with it on the other hand there are also the atavistic fear of being defenseless during sleep and the sometimes distressing things that can be encountered in it.

The fabric of sleep is made up of that wonderful phenomenon that i am dreams.
In them everything is possible: abandon yourself to a breath of wind and fly through the air or meet famous people from the past, be chased by a murderer or live an unbridled erotic adventure, satisfy the most fantastic desire or relive old or new dramas ...
What, since the earliest times, has always been regarded as certain is the fact that dreams are not a part of the individual in their own right, but are a continuation, in a different state of consciousness, of what he is inside. , thus becoming a bridge between the two different faces of human life that many have tried to explore in view of the possibility of using this dichotomy to have a more complete vision of who or what the human being in its entirety really is.

[…] Instead, we wanted to talk about your waking dreams, those dreams that are part of your daily life and which are closely interwoven with it.
Who among you does not dream of something during the day? Who among you does not sometimes get lost in daydreams? Who among you does not imagine, even if only for a few moments, a future reality different for himself, in which what he will experience is different from what it really seems to be if things went according to a consequential logic of events?
But let's see how what we have said during this cycle relates to dreams made in a waking state.

If you pay attention to your dreams for more than a moment, you will realize that they are the direct derivative of what your desires are and that, in almost all cases, they express yours Io.
Therefore, before becoming interested in the interpretation of night dreams, we recommend that you dedicate yourself to the interpretation of your dreams in a waking state.
In fact, while the nocturnal ones are very complex and arise from the work of your ego (therefore from your physical, astral and mental bodies) but also from the vibrations of your body of conscience and, again, from those that come from your Self, from your spark, those in the waking state are mainly under the dominion of your ego, if only due to the fact that, during the waking state, your awareness is mainly centered on what you are experiencing and, therefore, on the reactions of your ego to the events which, on a daily basis, stimulate your ego to desire and, consequently, to "dream" of something different from what it is experiencing directly in reality.
By this, I certainly do not mean to say that even through dreams in a waking state you cannot find elements that can be traced back to your consciousness or to the impulses sent by your spark (God forbid!) But, simply, that the element preponderant and, therefore, objectively easier to investigate turns out to be the reflection of your ego on them.

Dreaming while awake, you say, is part of the illusion.
Quite right. But, on closer inspection, perhaps even living the experience is not part of the illusion?
To get out of the illusion it is necessary to increase one's conscience and to increase one's conscience it is necessary, as we have always said, to live the experience, be it subjective or real.
Otherwise we should think that those who are not sane and live in an illusory autistic world or completely divorced from reality have been abandoned to themselves by the Absolute and put in a position to lose an entire life.
In reality, even in these cases theevolution expands because the illusion, experienced as true, obtains the same result as the real experience.

But be careful: the illusion in which we crystallize is different deliberately to refuse to face some unpleasant personal reality or not such as to satisfy one's desires, and it stops the possibility of experience that will start again only when the individual manages to find the desire and inner strength not to succumb to the force of unlikely dreams .

In other words, the dream, even unattainable, which induces man to move in the reality of the physical world, giving him the drive to try to make his dream come true, is a dream that becomes a source of action and understanding, but a dream that remains only a mental hypothesis, an escape from reality, an excuse not to act, a screen behind which to hide can only turn out to be, in the end, a source of pain because the feel collides with this rigid barrier formed by the ego and, not finding the way to move the individual from within, in some way will put into action that external mechanism which, with often dramatic consequences, will try to re-establish the flow of vibrations between the body of consciousness and lower body.

A popular adage states: "The value of a man is recognizable in the value of his dreams."
It is true, children and brothers, but it would also be more correct to affirm that the value of man is recognizable in the way in which he works to make these dreams come true.
But, as I said at the beginning, we will return to the dream more fully in a next cycle, trying to get you to understand that night dreams and dreams in a waking state are not two things that far apart. Abn-el-tar

  1. A dream that remains only a mental hypothesis can create a crystallization. Being crazy enough to still create a movement that shatters it.

  2. Very important, for me, is the explanation of the meaning of daydreams and action to make them come true.
Thanks to Abn el Tar and to those who post weekly.
