Crystallization and its existential function [A62]

Q – When we find ourselves in the presence of a supposed crystallization it is sometimes difficult to understand whether it is the other person who is crystallized or whether we are. Or perhaps crystallization is a condition of both people even if with different nuances?

Io I would say that, many times, those who find themselves faced with the crystallization of another person actually give the impression of being crystallized themselves. This almost always happens when one is unable to accept the alleged "crystallization" of the other and, following the reaction of one's own ego which is unable to understand how it is possible that, being in his opinion right and trying to make the other see his "stagnation" with commitment ends up becoming rigid in his own positions.

Partly because it is difficult for the ego to consider that its opinions and reasoning may be wrong, partly because we are so busy trying to convince the other that we remain stuck in the image we have of the other without detecting, perhaps, the changes that the other is making. The fact is that we would like the other to change when and how we want, while the other's change, to be real, must be felt and, therefore, follow the times and methods that are most suited to his way of being. .

Q – What is the relationship between karma and crystallization?

Obviously a relationship exists, since what we are when we incarnate comes from what we have been. However, it is not an essential element for understanding. And this for the same reason why we have always said that it is of no importance, except in very particular cases, to know who you were in a past life: the elements that lead to crystallization they have their genesis, always and in any case, in the life that is being led.

Of course, there is a predisposition to certain reactions coming from past lives, but let's remember that what we experience comes not so much from a particular life but from a particular misunderstanding that, perhaps, we do not have the courage to resolve or face. Knowing the stimulus that, in a past life, highlighted the same misunderstanding that led to a current crystallization thus becomes a useless effort, since, to manifest itself in current life, crystallization However, it needs a stimulus that comes from the life you are living.

So we already have at our disposal, if we want to make use of them, the elements to resolve the crystallization without embarking on the examination of supposed elements belonging to a previous life. We try to always keep in mind that what is at the basis of crystallization is not something that concerns the events themselves of the life we lead, but rather something that belongs to us as misunderstanding and which refers to our akasic body, not to the transience of our lower bodies.

Q – What is the usefulness of crystallization?

For once a positive question! The elements of utility concern the people involved in the crystallization: the crystallized person, the moment he becomes aware of his block, has the direction to go towards to resolve what caused it. The people around him have the opportunity to exercise themselves in helping others and to treasure what they perceive in the crystallization of others, reflecting themselves in it and, inevitably, comparing their own interiority with that of the other person. In this way, often finding elements to avoid falling into the same mistake and thus avoiding personal crystallization.

Q – Does the crystallization present in one life recur in subsequent lives?

It is clear that this is the case: if the reason that leads to crystallization has not been resolved in the course of life but bypassed or avoided so as not to see it, it inevitably remains as a desire for understanding in the body of consciousness and will recur, faced with conditions favorable to its manifestations, during a subsequent life. Sometimes giving rise once again to a crystallization, sometimes starting a process of overcoming and understanding as a consequence of the fact that, in the meantime, our feel it has, little or a lot, expanded.

Q – Can psychosomatisms linked to crystallization be a clue to identifying and dissolving crystallization?

I would say yes, even if there is an objective difficulty, namely that of defining whether we are dealing with psychosomatism linked to a crystallization or psychomatism linked to other causes such as, for example, a strong sense of guilt. I believe that psychomatism should be considered more usefully in general, keeping in mind that it has a cause and that that cause can be linked to some more or less important nuance of understanding that escapes us.

Q – What consequences does crystallization have on the image (or vice versa)?

It is not easy to give a general answer to this question. An element to think about could be this: crystallization does not concern the entire incarnated individual, but only a more or less important portion of his way of being. Since the ego tends not to accept that it has limits and problems, it is easy for it to interpret crystallization as a peculiar aspect of its character (which is manifested, for example, by the famous phrase that we have all said sooner or later: " I am like this and I can't do anything about it”), therefore stable, continuous and, consequently included in the image that the Ego creates of itself.

Obviously this is an aspect of the image that does not adhere to reality, and this leads to the consequence that, when the crystallization is eliminated, the Ego will find itself having to modify the image of itself to seek the new balances that they still make him feel beautiful, strong, right and important. This, evidently, constitutes an important stimulus to change, because it is a continuous process that leads to an equally continuous attempt to adapt the image of the ego which, poor thing, ends up being only rarely satisfied and satisfied with itself and, however, always for a short time.
