Shades of Feeling: Quality and Quantity of Feeling and Free Will [IF33focus]

Throughout my life I have been rich and I have been poor.
I helped others and didn't even look at them.
I sang praises to God and in my being blasphemous I also blasphemed him.

I laughed and laughed at the suffering of others, but I also suffered with them.
I have embarked on the path of knowledge, but I have also pursued the path of ignorance.
I loved looking for personal gratification but I also did it without expecting anything in return ...

All this io I did, and when I realized I was making a mistake, I stopped to observe the reasons for my actions; and when I did well in my actions, I added a little confidence to my being insecure, to my being uncertain, convinced that this was the right way to get to embrace peace and serenity.

But now, now that all those experiences are part of my conscience, from which I draw strength and receive the stimuli to move forward, it seems to me that peace and serenity are moving away from me, becoming unattainable goals, and I feel discomfort and disharmony growing in me, almost as if all my efforts were to no avail, yet ...

Yet I know that I am wrong, yet I know that something that could shed light in this new confusion of mine escapes my understanding and if I ask myself: "Why all this?" alone I can not give me an answer. Federico

The average individual evolution (as you might currently be) is incarnated for the purpose not only of progressing along the evolutionary path, but also to experiment and verify whether what he has learned from his consciousness is solid or needs modifications or additions.

By this we mean that when you reach a certain evolutionary level, the experiences that appear before you can appear more difficult, as the individual finds himself having to experience what we once called "shades". In fact, it was said, at the time, that it was one thing to come to understand that one should not kill a person who is emotionally attached to us and another thing, on the other hand, was to understand that one should not kill any person, even an alleged enemy.

You understand that there is a substantial difference between the two. What does this mean?
It means to change, to expand this feelto broaden it, understanding these nuances, something that was latent up to that moment must come into play.
In fact, when it comes to this point, what has been called the "free will”, Which brings as a logical consequence the discourse of the variants of feeling.

We will not talk tonight about "variations of feeling", also because it is a very complex speech and you do not yet have the basis to understand it, but we will try instead to give a definition of what we mean by "free will", such a definition that allows us to be able to continue the discussion without perhaps having to go back to it (also because, if I'm not mistaken, it will be the umpteenth time that we come back to it).

However, one thing must be taken into consideration: when it comes to the problem of freedom, it must be remembered that the problem is treated in its theoretical and not practical terms, because you know that practically it is a very different and very complex discourse, also because the tendency towards improvement , the tendency to spiritual progress is an inherent characteristic of the individual and therefore, any individual, whether he wants to or not, will progress.

Free will must be considered above all to be able to understand the problems, anxieties, anxieties of the individual moment in which the choice is made which, for those who make it, is real and is lived in the "here and now" of that choice. individual in that evolutionary moment.

The purpose of human incarnations is therefore to progress, to move forward and to enter ever more in harmony with the love that governs the entire universe and, to do this, it is necessary to go through certain experiences, and to do this it is necessary that at a certain point the individual exercises his or her ability to choose, to make choices.

Here, then, arrived ... but yes, let's face it ... at your evolutionary level, your existence will no longer be predestined step by step, but there will be points that we call (as someone had already defined them in other times and in others places) of "empty spaces", and these empty spaces will represent your freedom of choice.

However it is not that these empty spaces will make you progress on the evolutionary path, but the progress will be only one quality progress; that is, you will improve the "quality" of your evolutionary level (or, if you prefer, we call it "feeling") also because, to make a choice, it is necessary that the three bodies of the individual (the physical body, the astral body and the mental body) are in perfect harmony with each other, and it will be thanks to this total involvement of the individual that he will be able to enlarge, to qualitatively expand - I repeat - his own feelings. So free will is nothing more than a capacity that is offered to us to improve our feeling qualitatively.

  • Summary of the philosophical teaching of the Ifior Circle: HOW CONSCIOUSNESS CREATES PERSONAL REALITY, you can order here the book. If you're reading this and want support, write.

As far as quantity is concerned, the discourse can be very different; let's say the amount to hear (sorry for the imprecise terminology, but we can't find anything else to be able to understand) the quantity I was saying could be represented by the number of choices that the individual will face. It is like saying by giving a very simplistic but, I believe, effective example - that if I had a "feel 3" I would have before me the possibilities of choice, which represent feeling 1, feeling 2 or feeling 3; or, if I possessed a feel 8, I would have 8 choices in front of me, which would obviously range from feeling 1 to feeling 8. Therefore free will has the function of qualitatively improving our feeling and is not necessarily and strictly linked to the quantity of this feeling. And with that, I think I have confused you more and… peace to you! Vito

Freedom however, it can also be understood as the absence of limitations. In fact, the individual, man, in the course of his evolutionary path will have great limitations at the beginning and will lose them as he will be able to move forward along the path of his evolution.

The limitations they can be both of external origin and of internal origin: those of external origin are obviously closely related to karma, and therefore to the law of cause and effect; internal oneson the other hand, although these are also linked in some cases to the concept of karma, they can exist precisely thanks to one disharmony between the three lower bodies of the individual and this, although apparently it may not seem so, is a very important point to understand because it is necessary that there be uniformity in action, desire and thought.

To make you understand, however, how necessary these impediments, these limitations are, imagine what could happen, for example, to a advanced individual who could have a wide freedom of choice: certainly his actions would be profoundly selfish, he would tend to seek gratification, personal good, and in this way he would remain so entangled in the laws of cause and effect that the famous 50.000 years in his disposition to progress spiritually would be very little.

Here then is that the limitation and, consequently, the impossibility, almost, to make choices, protect him from being tied up by his choices and provide him with the possibility of being able to gradually experience his spiritual growth and his tendency to good.

The medium-evolved individualinstead, having already in the symptoms of this disposition, of this tension towards the love that governs creation, will have greater possibilities for making individual choices, even if there will still be limitations for him.

The evolved individualInstead, he will no longer have limitations, he will be free to choose, he will have the most complete and total freedom because his choices will be in perfect harmony with the love that governs creation and that tends to the good of it. The light be with you all, dear ones. fabius

I was very struck by this thing here, of the fact that there must be a perfect harmony between the physical, astral and mental bodies, and therefore there must be a uniformity of finalism; and then a funny thing came to my mind, but it seems to me that it can convey the idea: for example, the physical body wants to eat what I know, baked lasagna, and the astral body desires ravioli, and the mental body dreams pizzoccheri, then it means that there will be no freedom and that he will be forced to eat - I don't know - pasta all'amatriciana!

If, on the other hand, all three bodies are uniform and all tend to the same goal, it means that the individual will be able to choose between the four dishes we mentioned earlier! No? Doesn't it seem to you that it could be so? It's a bit silly as an example, I don't doubt it, but think about it. Gnose

  1. "However, it is not that these empty spaces will make you progress on the evolutionary path, but progress will only be quality progress."

This step seems essential to me: free will does not make us progress faster, the understandings to be crossed are obligatory, we do not make leaps in feeling.
But it can improve the quality of feeling itself, our own perception of it.
I like to call free will "discernment" which arises at some point in the life of the feeling of a consciousness and which is the conformity of all bodies of consciousness to the intention that arises from consciousness itself.
Conformity which is also and above all harmony between bodies and therefore "awareness".
Discernment arises from the awareness of unity.
    Thank you.
